
Glyn Chancey

Over the last 25 years Glyn Chancey has held positions of increasing responsibility within the federal public service, most notably in the areas of economic development, trade policy and negotiations and regulation. From 2002 to 2010 Mr. Chancey was an executive responsible for plant regulatory programs with the Canadian Food Inspection Agency. In December 2010, Mr. Chancey joined the Treasury Board of Canada as Executive Director of the Red Tape Reduction Commission Secretariat and in February 2012 assumed the position of Executive Director of the Regulatory Cooperation Council Secretariat. Glyn is a graduate of the University of Guelph, resides in Navan, Ontario near Ottawa and is active in leadership roles a number of regional agricultural organizations.
